i recommend strongly some chinese pop music, especially "soft" ones.

i know some english song have their origin from chinese, for example, 'kissing me goodbye' is a english version of a chinese song

you can go to http://www.baidu.com which is a chinese search engine, there you can find which songs have been downloaded the most times and it is quite a guideline for you to find great songs
