View Full Version : Hey!
I opened up my e-mail today and had a birthday greeting from FCF, so I thought I'd pop in and say hello. My birthday isn't officially until tomorrow, but I guess this board works on aussie time.
anyhow, i need to come here more. I am really busy with work and photography and don't have a lot of free time. If you want to see some of what I've been up to, go visit my site:
www.fetching.net (http://www.fetching.net)
i do lots of night photography, long exposures, and will have a shot in a local Bay Area Magazine this summer.
Hope everyone is well and happy!

Cheers Inky! :wavey:
good to see you pop outta the ether.
I'm diggin the photos. What types of film do you do for your night work? Back when, I'd use like Fuji 64T. It would generate some really cool color depth.
Most of the stuff I shot was Desert stuff, ambient light on canyon walls and stuff. 3+ minute exposures.

film? what is this film you speak of?
;)
i'm strictly digital these days. i have a canon 350D XT and a few L lenses and that's it.
i have more galleries with larger pics at:
www.pbase.com/fetching (http://www.pbase.com/fetching)
most of my night stuff is all naturally lit, by the moon or ambient street light. there's a few shots there where i used color gels over a strobe and popped them off during a several minute exposure.

A a nice 8.0+ megapixel digital SLR that can use standard .35 lenses would rock. I'm all digital too with a Sony 3.0 MP and photoshop as a dark room.
a lot cheaper than the old way no doubt!
