Just checking my files being I had nothing else to do and see that I have 2.51Gigs of photos and 13.5Gigs of video on main hard drive, hard drive two is all vids. Looking at the before and after of resized pictures, man they turn to shit when resized more than 20%. Will work on adding links to Zokah's new vid thread.

You resize to make bigger? A lot of my quality pictures are between 1.5-2 MB's each, I have to make smaller, plus cropping out watermarks gets rid of some of the size. Yes I use Ifranview, a great program and best of all it's free.

yeah, I sometimes find good pics that aren't quite big enuff to repost. Larger pics I downsize to around 750pixel width for posting cos it fits the screen best.

Without doubt Ifranview is the greatest bit of freeware ever

Well, it's going on 24 hours downtime now. The bad thing is I still have half the thread to finish posting and the good thing is nobody can bitch because all the pictures aren't there. Well being FC has been down I decided to convert some of the video's that have been posted in the VIP section to DVD, my other computer just finished the files and one of the Jap uncensored vids that Raven posted took over six hours and one of India that Zokah posted only took a little over an hour. All in all the vids took over 24 hours to convert, now I will burn them and make copies to share with friends around the country. Can't wait to see what they look like on my new 55inch LCD.

I had a few minor bugs in computer, also deleted all files and cookies. If I still have same problem tomorrow I am going to transfer some pictures to my other computer and see what happens.

I guess you done the usual things like clearing temp files. If you use firefox don't forget to dump the cache as well.

Is it only happening with FF? I've just been reading about the "memory seepage" problem they have been trying to resolve since the release of v1.5

I don't use firefox that much, it has always been slow going with me. Right now I can post text at FC but can't upload pictures. I get a message file type not allowed or the file is too big, I was just trying to upload screen caps.

Weird with different things going wrong at FC, GG is not problem free either. I haven't had much time to post at either the last three - four weeks so I really get pissed off when I do have some free time to post and can't.

I rarely have a problem @ GG and I understand it's on the same server as Ogrish so I suspect it gets overloaded @ peak times with all the yankee gore freaks. Fuck knows what causes the problem with compounds cos it doesn't happen here as often. It's the same host (I think) but maybe on different servers?

I find it amazing that many men cannot cook at all. their nutrition comes out of boxes, bags and cans- and they wonder why Type-2 diabetes is on the rise.

One of my better suave, romantic moves is to do up a nice healthy dinner with wine and FUCK YEA!... a dessert. That can be as simple as homemade icecream with reduced sherry drizzled on top.

barring that, go pick me up some Thai food just up the street.

the nearest beach I can bring my hibatchi to is at the lake, not quite postcard material. but I can still do up some nice kebobs on my tailgate while fishing. :cool:

I won't buy azn food from many places cos it's shit. I've gotta drive 25miles to my preferred Viet joint even further to a good chinese and I've given up on findimg a respectable Thai. It's a good thing I don't really like azn food :D
But we do have 1 good Italian and a great "European stlye" nosh house. Their goulash is the best I've ever had - prolly cos it's still cooked to grannys recipe they tell me

i used to cook when i was single and in the early days of our marraige when i had a job and reasonably fixed timings. Ever since i started my own, i've never had the time. tho i do cook for myself when mrs xen and baby k go on their annual vacation to visit her and my parents.

they're leaving this week for a month and a half - so i guess i'll have kitchen duties again soon.

i love asian food, thai being a particular favourite, don't care too much for chinese coz i eat it all the time when i'm in china coz it's either chinese or fast food like mcd's or "chinese westen" which sucks a$$ big time. I do have one favourite restaurant for each type of cuisine and i seldom go elsewhere for that kind of food.
