did you ever see the Doors live?
Pink Floyds "The Wall" tour was excellent, the show I saw anyway but I saw them one other time and it was only so so
AccaDacca always put on a good show, even when they were starting out on the Pub circuit. The same goes for the Oils (by all reports they still rocked on Saturday night, it sounded great even on radio)
Of the current bands I enjoy Machinegun fellatio and The Hilltop Hoods live

I'm adding to my list: Red hot chilli peppers, Coldplay, foo fighters, the hives, the selecter et al. Every one a classic concert.

i'll be seeing D21C ( The Doors of The 21st Century - Ray Manzerak, Robbie Kreiger & Ian Astbury from band Cult) at Music Bowel in Feb
sadly, just checking now danny Sugerman (author of No One Here Gets Out Alive) passed away just recently. Meh! :( http://www.thedoors.com/news/?fa=danny
Did I ever tell you guys, that I was asked by The Doors cover band in Melb to be their lead singer after theirs had retired? ;)

I saw Bowie last back when he colaborated with NIN. And I was on the floor at the end of NIN's set, they where playing some etheral/thick moody synthezoidy stuff, lights where low. All the kiddies who don't know who Bowie is left, I'm one of a few on the floor and Bowie walk to the edge of the stage with a smoke looking right at me and started signing.
I was like: WIlikers! it's the man who fell to earth!
it was special.
