I must have missed the thread @ GG but congrats :D

If you go to a bar you could get a 1 nite stand - if you are prepared for the risks that go with it. Otherwise it's groupsex with the toys.

is there a high demand for teachers in your area? There sure the hell is here, but they dont pay shit. In fact we had a bunch of teachers quit in past months because they dont pay shit. Unless your the superintendants.. we are trying to get two of them.

at $200,000 a year each.

cuzz we scored really damn low on national educational success.

Maybe of they paid the teachers....

There is such a HUGE shortage of special ed teachers all over the United States.....and what I find interesting is, with such a huge shortage, why in the fucking world would they want to make it even more difficult to get a Master's degree in special ed?

I'm part of what we call a "cluster"....we all started the program together, and have been in every class together since day one. We started with over 20 people, and are now down to about 12 of the original group, maybe less.

And, when you compare other carreers that require this much higher education, teachers, especially special ed teachers get paid shit for what has to be done, the laws that keep changing, the need to always continue to take more classes after you earn the degree...hell, I could go on forever with this topic.

I've always thought I'd like to teach art. Elementary level one could teach proper seeing and composition skills, upper grades perhaps a sensitivity to various media and self expression.

But then the little fuckers today are so strung out on Ritilyn and mega-violence and emotionless sex, I doubt making them draw tin-foil and paper bags would be feasable.

I'm always surprised at how artistically talented some of our special ed kids are.

I've even purchased some of their art work over the years....our ED/BD kids are the most artistically talented.

I'm guessin that most of them have not had their creativity and natural art ability stripped away by a school/societal process of churning out obedient drones to fuel the NWO satanic mills. All children have a natural ability and instinct to express themselved through art and music. Yet at about age 5 or so thats gets snuffed because that is frowned upon by a society that demands productivity and conformity.

must be serious now, none of that foofoo art crap.

These special ed kids might also have greater than average links with the Right side of the brain, the seat of creativity, abstration and emotion. Many autistic kids have amazing aptitude for art. Same holds true for those suffering from Schizophrenia, bi-polar and such.

Yet society cast out the daydreamer who sits in the back of the classroom.

back in the day..., when I went to school thats where the teachers went to smoke like chimneys and snort coke and shoot up coffee.

it was understood that any wayward students would be shot on sight if they even approached the door of the lounge.
