should be getting endometrial ablation done before my next one....had to reschedule the (can't remember what it's called right now) video camera in my unterus exam from tomorrow to Sept. 6th. Made an appointment for the cardiologist for Sept. 1. Haven't seen a cardiologist since my last heart attack and double stent operation....my primary care physician is starting to get a bit upset with me for not following his instructions for the past several years. He's a great doctor.

oh, and my mom had surgery today and is doing very well. Gets out of the hospital tomorrow morning if all continues to go well.

They made me run for 10 mins to 75% of my max VO. I was able to maintain until my legs gave out. from sitting on my ass in front of a Godforsaken computer all day.

I try to get three days of running on the treadmill and three days of weights., it's still to damn hot to ride my bike unless it's 10:00 at night.

soon it will be time to hit the trails again!

it was not long after I was admitted to hospital with a high heart rate........just a couple of minutes brisk walking @15deg slope to check my breathing/heartrate - I wasn't even breathing heavy at the end of it
they called it a stresstest and charged over $300 for it

The stress tests I've ALWAYS had done are done with nuclear dyes.....I've had my lifetime amount of one of the nuclear dyes, and am almost to the lifetime limit for the other nuclear dye.....have no clue what kind of dye they'll use when I reach my lifetime limit with that one.

I have the usual tread mill stress test but have the nuclear dye injected during the test, then my heart is scanned twice....once when the heart rate is high, then I have to sit around for about an hour or more to have it scanned again, but because I already have heart disease, they keep me on the the treadmill, at a very steep incline, until THEY feel I can't take it any more....and, my main complaint isn't with the test, it's with the paper gown they make us wear....the one that rips all apart leaving my boobs flying in the air. In addition to that, I have had shin splints for years, causing so much pain in my shins during the stress test....I'M A MESS!

I do like the "stud" idea....I get a better cardio work-out with sex then I do on a stress test.

when I got my stress test I was sittin there in my skivvies for an ignorant duration of time, before a Latina med tech beconed me into a room. At once I noticed the radiation hazard symbol that was diligently displayed on a heavy brick stack with a lid.

I asked her to read the name on the chart and luckily for me was led back to the tech that had just showed up.

neither of them where suitably impressed with my physique.
