Update on stan

So, obvioulsy I've been away a while, no particular reason really. just got a bit bored with things. not much has really happened in my life since, but a little update won't go a miss. I did go to Australia earlier in the year, which as always was great. Sorry for not making the effort to contact people in sydney, but I will definetely be going back and will make all effort to do so then.
Sydney= fucking excellent place. I don't think I've ever had such a good time in a city before. Probably the best individual place I've ever been. I have tons of photo's if anyones interested. I did think I'd bumped into zokah when I was there, but I wasn't sure. It was on one of the ferries that take you round the various places. Photo included. it's a bit dark but there's a definite likeness :p.

Everything about the place screamed fun. We did all the usual touristy things and, although I spent 6 days there, could have done with another 6 I think.

Oh mate, the ferries were great, we'd go on them just for the hell of it, not even to get anywhere, just to do the loop. great views etc.

there wasn't an animal on the land that could get him so it had to be what most people assume to be docile that got him with a shot straight thru the jam tart.

while I applaud his eco awareness and education qualities I have to say I feel he exploited and bothered a lot of animals just to get TV shots. I feel he made a poor example of respect for animals a lot of time for the many children who idolized him from his antics, although he did a lot to bring the wild to many people. That can be good, awareness of nature is going to be it's few protections. That spot of idiocy when he dangled his kid in front of a croc to me showed a very stupid and recless example, too many people out there would be so stupid as to downplay the risk of something such as that.. no need to encourage more stupidity.

on another note, on the front page of that URL Naomi Robson...!!! shes GORGEOUS!!!

ya know, I've been thinkin about Irwin. Aside from his annoying persona and his molestation of a lot of wildlife for the cameras, I'll applaude his eco-sensibilities. The man had a purpose.

I'd like to have gone on a few hikes with Irwin in my beloved Desert. But I would have slapped his hand if he wanted to pester any rattlesnakes.
