Hi there! I'm inveterate vegetarian. I have been eating seafood and vegetables since 1990. Almost 17 years. I tasted different kind of seafood such as fish, crab meat, octopus, shrimps, oysters, caviar and other. But my favorite dish is fried squids. When I was married my wife cooked it for me. Now I'm single. I can't cook at all. So I'm looking for seafood market restaurant. I want to order fresh seafood to my office and home. I ordered shrimps and oysters there twice. It was very tasty! Sometimes I cook shrimps myself. May be someone knows where can I order fresh or frozen shrimps?

hmmmm, I'd say you should have your woman not wash her privates for a few days.

You should be able to find all the fish you want using that method....DOH!

I met a live tuna once, smacked me with it's tail.

I don't think tuna sweat. But it is good chopped up like so:

12oz. sashimi grade Ahi (yellowfin) Tuna
4oz.julienne sweet red onion
4 tsp. chopped chive or green onion
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. sesame oil
3 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. red chili flakes
2oz. fresh seaweed (optional)
2 cups of shredded iceburg lettuce

Yum-o!

MamaBush
02-02-2007, 04:41 PM
which is what made it taste oh so good.....tater chips were a luxury to our HUGE family when I was growing up

Gnome

i'll bet! with just me and two siblings food tended to disappear rapidly. I guess thats why I eat fast today.

MamaBush
02-04-2007, 06:28 PM
ha, you would think my whole family would be fast eaters....being that 9 of us sat around the same dining room table every morning, noon, and night for meals and to share our days.

with us, kool-aide was a luxury...we'd get one glass of kool-aide with stove popped buttered popcorn every Saturday night. And, we got to stay up later too.

the simple things in life sometimes brings us the most joy

i think those important moments are getting lost to many families these days.

everybodys in such a hurry

MamaBush
02-05-2007, 06:38 AM
besides being in a hurry all the time...parents tend to give their kids anything they want, thus they lose out on traditions and how to enjoy the simple things in life (like Kool-aide and popcorn)

sad sad sad

Gnome

I can't understand these parents who give their kids fuckin credit cards then wonder why the kid jacks up grievious balances. Uhmm dar?

MamaBush

ha....no shit

I loved it when my daughter became of driving age and wanted me to pay for her driving lessons at school.

Silly girl. Told her point blank that with the way she's stolen from me over the years, her addictions and psychiatric problems making her act like a loon, and her refusal to stay in school...NO WAY IN HELL AM I PAYING FOR DRIVING LESSONS

she knows me better than that....*smiles*

Gnome

pay for driving lessons?

shit, they just threw me in a truck, pointed at the pedals "Gas" "Brake" and sent me on my way.

I learned how to drive a stick in a 8 ton forklift ^_^

when I was in high school....the driving classes were paid for by taxes.

now days, all driving classes are paid for by the parents.

and, even way back when I got mine, you HAD to take a driving class in order to get your driver's license before the age of 16. I also learned on a stick.....3 on the column.....don't see those any more

Gnome
02-06-2007, 11:03 PM
fuckin in A yea baby- three on the tree!

yea driving class counted X amount of points towards a learners permit. had to have one to even get behind the wheel at 15.5

sheeet... parents today must be skimpin on those driving courses!

xen

i learnt on a stick as well....paid for my own classes....waste of fucking money
considering i've never owned a car.

Gnome
02-07-2007, 07:51 PM
no way dude, not a waste of money. You might have to drive someday, to like save the world or something, then those lessons will be very useful indeed.
i learnt on a stick as well....paid for my own classes....waste of fucking money
considering i've never owned a car.
what is it with me and men who don't drive?

"D" is FINALLY, at the ripe old age of 28, taking driving classes so he can get his license. But, I guess it makes sense for him to not have gotten his license living in NYC almost all his life. Their mass transit system is fantastic.

xen
02-09-2007, 06:33 PM
well the public transportation here is even better and owning is a car is nothin more than a luxury. Parking, tax and fuel would cost you more than if you took a cab everywhere you went.

I used to drive in various places that i've lived but i've never owned a car. Usually rented or borrowed.

Gnome
02-09-2007, 07:06 PM
out here in the Desert specifically So Nevada, public transit sucks ass. You need a car to get around. The bus would take you near three hours to get across town.

and my 4x4 is important to get about the wastelands.

MamaBush
02-10-2007, 03:55 AM
in my area we need cars as well.

absolutely NO public transportation whatsoever

Gnome
02-10-2007, 06:46 AM
as it typical in industry based places. mass trans only comes into it's own when you have a large density demographic based in administration or service type economy.

MamaBush

well, we do have a passenger train that starts in my town, and ends up in Chicago...with many stops inbetween.

However, since we're as far away from Chicago as we are, the trips are limited...and no trips on the weekends at all.

so, I guess it still sucks.

Gnome

exactly, it just doeasnt come through town anymore. And they keep runnign their mouths about a high speed train between southern California and here but they keep dragging their feet. So instead we'll just continue one of the most congested corridors in America- the I-15
