I'M BACK, Just got in an hour ago. Went home to see the girls and then
came to the office for an hour or so to get organised for tomorrow. Very jetlagged and I'll prolly go home and crash soon. The good thing was due to a flight delay in Dubai, I kicked up such a fuss that they upgraded me to Business class for free!

It was an excellent trip. Athens was amazing - Dubai was pretty kewl too.

What special features does the one you're talking about have?

Oh, and Windows Movie Maker is fantastic as well....great transitonal effects, automatically saves all movies as wmv...no matter how it was saved to begin with.

And, it works GREAT at downsizing video clips too...I've taken some down from 3.5 MB to 450 Kb and ended with fairly great quality too.

photoshop is only good for working with stills but the general consensus is that it is the best - thats why "photoshopped" is becoming a generic term. I can't begin to describe the reasons why cos I still don't know how to use it to it's full potential, I've got at least 20 links to tips on using it, and they are all different
As for vids I find it best to use several programs depending on just what I'm trying to do, Adobe Premiere for editing and adding transitions etc while different programs are best for joining different file types and some also do a better job on converting either .mov/qt or real to a windows media.
While for ultimate compression I still use my old box because windows media converter 7.1 isn't compatible with XP and it offers the best range of compression/codecs/framerates/keyframes/audio codecs/audio bitrates required to get the smallest possible filesize while maintaining viewability on a minimum of 320x240 screensize. I mean so it's not pixelated when viewed "fullscreen" at the standard windows screen setting of 800x640

Back after one hellish trip to China. It was my worst trip ever...fell sick and had a simply awful time...exhausted and worn out and I have to go back in 3 days :(

How's everyone doing? I finally got my assistant so I'm not as stressed as I usually am when I get back from a trip. She's competent. Still has to learn a lot of stuff but she's doing fine so far.

Baby K has the chicken pox - Poor thing's been miserable these last few days, with the itchy spots and fever and not having daddy around...she wouldn't let go of me yesterday when I got home :D damn that felt nice - made all the shit I had to endure is china seem worth it :D :D
