I was watching a movie with a friend last night.
We noticed that in every movie we have seen, when someone checks thier mail box, there is always mail.
Don't these people have a 'No Mail' day?

I believe this is all based around the storyline. When a person goes to check their mail, something important to the story has arrived in the mail. As viewers, we need this scene to understand what follows.

You don't see the no-mail days because they're not important. Same as you don't see the people going to the bathroom, or eating, or flossing. It's not very important to the plot. Unless, of course, it's a sick porn (that zokah watches, I'm sure) where people shit on plates, eat it, then floss the corn outta their teeth.
